Study: Drinking hot tea raise the risk of cancer

A cancer of the oesophagus - a long, hollow tube that runs from your throat to your stomach. The oesophagus is the organ that helps in the movement of the food/drink from the throat to the stomach, where it gets digested. Oesophageal cancer usually begins in the cells that line the inside of the oesophagus. It is said to be one of the most common causes of deaths worldwide.

Symptoms include - weight loss, chest pain, difficulty in swallowing, indigestion, heartburn, coughing and hoarseness. Besides the aforementioned study, there could be plenty of other risk factors like smoking, not eating enough fruits and vegetables, alcohol consumption, bile reflux, etc.
