7 Reasons why Maha Shivaratri is important festival!

Brahma, feeling ashamed to come back failed, took a Ketaki flower with hima and told Shiva that he found it at the tip of the fire. Ketaki flower also supported Brahma. Lord Shiva became angry on Brahma for telling lie and cursed him that nobody will ever pray to him. He also told Ketaki flower that nobody will use her as an offering for Pooja from thereafter.
