Randeep Hooda and Mahie Gill's several steamy sex scenes were frowned upon by the Censor Board, and a somewhat diluted version of Tigmanshu Dhulia's Saheb Biwi aur Gangster was released in theatres. There were other intimate scenes, too, in the film, featuring Jimmy Sheirgill and Shreya Narayan's love-making. The versions of the film, which are available online, however, had all the deleted sex scenes.
