Main Course Dish: Spicy Pulao Recipe


Ingredients
1 cup french beans and carrot cubes (boiled), 1/4 cup green peas (boiled), 3 cups cooked rice, 2 tbsp ghee, salt to taste, 1/2 cup deep-fried onions

Ground into smooth paste
7 garlic cloves/lehsun, 7 whole dry kashmiri red chillies (broken into pieces), 1 piece of ginger/adrak, 1 tbsp coriander/dhania, 1 tsp cumin seeds/jeera, half cup water

For Garnish
1/2 cup deep-fried onions, 2 tbsp coriander leaves /dhania (finely chopped)

How to make
Start with making paste of garlic, whole dry kashmiri red chillies, ginger, dhania, jeera and water by blending all together. Now, take a pan and heat the ghee in it. Now, add the prepared paste and cook on medium flame for 2 minutes while stirring occasionally. Add french beans, carrot cubes, green peas, salt and 2 tbsp of water. Mix well and cook on medium flame 2 more minutes. Add rice and deep-fried onions and mix well. Cook on medium flame for 2 minutes. Spicy Pulao is ready. Serve hot garnished with deep-fried onions and coriander leaves.
