The magical and fairy-tale love story of SRK and Gauri

Gauri's parents were against the marriage. The biggest factor of their relationship- their different religious backgrounds. Gauri belonged to a family of Hindu Brahmins. Her father was a pure vegetarian, and even had a temple within the house. And, Shah Rukh was a Muslim. It was obvious that her parents did not approve of their relationship. Shah Rukh was finally able to get Gauri's hand and her parent's blessings. And, the couple finally got married on October 25, 1991. It was a Hindu marriage ceremony.
