After performing the dummy test, the CBI officials observed that it is possible for a person to hang himself in the space between Sushant's bed and the fan's rod. The team will now examine if Sushant Singh Rajput hanged himself or someone else hanged him after his death or when he was unconscious. Dr Sudhir Gupta and his team will be examining the viscera and post-mortem report to reach a conclusion.

For the dummy test, the forensic team made diagrams of the actor's room. The team found that the distance between the fan and the mattress was 5 ft 11 in. According to Google, Sushant's height was 5 ft 10 in. However, the actor used to say that he was 6 ft tall. The investigation also revealed that the height of the bed along with the mattress was 1 ft 9 in, while the height of the mattress alone was 8 in. The height of the ceiling from the mattress was found out to be 9 ft 3 in, while POP to the floor was 8 ft 11 in. Sushant's body was found inclined with a total height of 8 ft 1 in. The bathrobe belt of the actor was also broken.

The Special Investigation Team of CBI has found inconsistencies in the statements of Siddharth and Neeraj, which is why they will be called in for questioning again. Siddharth and Neeraj were present at Sushant's flat when the latter's body was found. They called a locksmith to break the door when Sushant didn't open his door after repeated attempts of calling him.
