While surely no one wants to eat poison, even though it's delicious, the researchers do mention that more research is needed to confirm a worrying link between consumption of rice and its effects on cardiovascular health.

Researchers also highlight that rice is a rich source of fibre, so instead of eliminating it out of the diet entirely, people could consume rice varieties, such as basmati, and different types like polished rice (rather whole grain rice) which are known to typically have lower inorganic arsenic contents.
