Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG

Mercedes-Benz, which is available in showrooms now. This is AMG's first hot hatch, the first four-cylinder model in the 45 years of Mercedes performance division. But all the bhp in the world is useless if you can't get it onto the road. Fortunately that isn't something the Benz struggles with courtesy of a seven-speed double clutch gearbox, all-wheel drive and several bits of crafty technology. The result is a hot hatch that isn't just ridiculously quick (0-62mph in 4.6 seconds), but one that rips through bends in a brilliantly composed manner.
