Amitabh Bachchan wanted to become an engineer and had even contemplated joining the Indian Air Force at one point of his life. During his struggling days, Amitabh had spent a few nights on a bench at Marine Drive, Mumbai.

The superstar gave 12 consecutive flops before his first big hit Zanjeer. Amitabh has starred in over 180 films in an illustrious career spanning four decades as a star of Hindi cinema.
