The now hotel is said to be haunted by the ghost of a woman named Mary Blandy, who was hanged for killing her father. Slab metal doors, barred windows and stone walls are reminiscent of it's horrid past and dungeons below are reminder of times when prisoners were subjected to untold tortures and were brutally killed.
