Shilpa Shetty is an Indian film actress and model. She made her debut in bollywood with the film Baazigar in 1993. The following year she delivered another blockbuster hit 'Main Khiladi Tu Anari' opposite Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan. Her performances in Dhadkan (2000) and Rishtey (2002) were appreciated, while her portrayal of an AIDS patient in Phir Milenge (2004) won her many accolades.

She is a trained Bharatnatyam dancer. She is also interested in sports and during her school days she was a captain of volleyball team. She is also a black belt in karate.
