Grammy-winning singer John Prine dies from Coronavirus
One of the world's most popular Singer and songwriter John Prine died due to complications related to COVID-19, announced his family. The 73 year old country-folk singer was receiving treatment for coronavirus at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. Country folk singer John Prine received a Grammy lifetime achievement award this year.
Last month, John Pine's wife, Fiona revealed that she had tested positive for COVID-19 and had later recovered, and on March 26 unfortunately her husband John Pine was hospitalized with coronavirus symptoms, and was put on a ventilator.
After remaining in intensive care for few days, the legendary singer passed away due to complications. Prine was discovered by the renowned film critic Roger Ebert and he had started his career as a mail deliverer and later turned to writing lyrics.
